H Blast! September 10th, 11th, and 12th 2010, Swepsonville NC
HWear proudly presents the inaugural H-Blast 2010, which will be held Sept.10-12 at Dancing Fox Music Park on the beautiful Haw River. This art fair will feature an “old Americana feel,” when things didn’t have to be complicated to be fun. Gathering an excellent assortment of high flying performance artists, painters, sculptors, musicians, and others, this will basically be all the art I can figure out how to pack in one fair. This event is sure to please even the utmost artsy fartsy. H-Blast will feature fun for all ages, and will embody an old-time atmosphere brought to the present. This event will feature an awesome selection of "old school" carnival food including funnel cakes, dipped fruit, traditional NC barbecue, and all the things we’re not suppose to eat but love to enjoy anyway. With a collection of zany, wild and wonderful attendees, this is a must do art spectacular, and sure to be one for the record books. The planning of the event is well underway, with preparations and schedules being made. Blast Passes

Blast Passes will be available for $40 until August 15. There will be a $1 creation and shipping fee per pass. The Blast Pass will be a collectible work of art that will be mailed to you at the end of August. The number of passes will be limited to 1,000 to keep the private party feel. Please help me by purchasing passes a early as possible, so I can apply capital towards preparations.

Vending & Crafts
Artist and those wishing to represent artists that would like to set up shop shall meet the following specifications:
- give name & contact info
- give name of art shop*
- give brief description of inventory & estimated gross value (info kept private)
- Purchase Blast Pass (Special Dealer) at gate price ($50) before August 15.
- shall pay 10% gratuity on all inventory sold. If you trade, make sure you can break me off a piece of what you got!
- simple as that!

~ notes: Each person to keep an art shop must be a "Special Dealer" to be qualified. So you shall need a BLAST PASS w/ dealer seal for all shop keepers including helpers. This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone. If you don't have enough inventory for a whole shop, share a shop. So let's make sure we stay honest and these simple rules shall never have to change.
~ another note: All registered artists shall have a link to their websites (if applicable).
~ one more: Artist and shopkeeps; PLEASE register as early as possible, to help with planning.
* Proper Shop consists of: 10' x 10' (or 10' x 20') covered structure with a cool name. (you will need to provide your own structure/ez-up/etc).
~ last one: If you have art that does not allow these constraints, please let me know.
In following these rules, I hope to create a "shoppin' village" for art seekers. My wishes are also that collectors be able to meet the artist(s) responsible for the art on hand. I have total faith that the artists & shopkeeps can work together to make this dream a reality.
Additional FUN!
Yes, there will be lots of other fun stuff to do all day, and into the night, such as, kid's tent, kid's parade, and late night bon-fires by the river. I also have some very special surprises in store. Don't forget your Sunday Best for the Family Photo.

Trash and Recycling
There's no reason to create a bunch of waste for me to haul away. The cost of haulin' trash & recycling away was not calculated as an overhead cost. So PLEASE, let's work together and not create an unnecessary situation. If everyone comes with a leave nothing but footprints attitude that would be perfect. There will be containers for our convenience, but please use sparingly. If you haul it in, haul it out! Don't forget, RE-USE is the best way to conserve.
